I have beef with Subway and the "five dollar" foot long. The other day I decided to take advantage of this wonderful promotion and indulge in a foot long. I went up to the counter and asked for a 6 inch philly steak steak sub and then as she grabbed a 6 inch sub said to the girl "actually i'll just get a foot long for the 5 dollar deal" and she said "ok" and grabbed a foot long bread. So when I go to pay there was a different kid there and he said "$8.64" and I of course said " uhh isn't that 5 bucks?" and he's like "not this kind." ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I told the girl to her face that I was only getting a Philly Cheese Steak Foot long for the 5 dollar deal and she said "ok". I really don't get people these days. She couldn't tell me then that that sub is an exception to the rule? No, that's probably why she dropped out of high school and works at Subway. Normally I would have said something but I was so shocked that it happened and it was only 3 bucks. People amaze me...
I never wouldve taken that sub, just based on principle. Id have rather starved. You got hosed buddy...
